Great place to catch up friends - good food
Nice local sort of pub. A bit dated but clean and welcoming. Food served. Nice views of Cardwell Bay. Its a bit tricky doing the stars for the rating. There is nothing wrong with it but it just doesn't have a 5 star feel.
It was really busy and was hard to get hold of a waitress as they seemed a bit stretched. However, the service was friendly and I had the best macaroni cheese I've had in ages. Good home cooked food.
Went to the Cardwell to try food. We were not disappointed!!!! Excellent Sunday Roast (gluten free) and great selection of meals. Well done to the Cardwell. Better service, food choices and prices than other places in Gourock. And gluten free options are excellent. Will be back ....often
