Mixed reactions to the way I was treated in this establishment. Was seeking an outfit for my son's wedding. The proprietress, in fairness, spent considerable time picking out outfits for me to try. Meantime, other customers, who appeared to be friends, took over the fitting room. A considerable time later, I was thanked for my forbearance, and went in to try on some outfits. None, sadly was a success. The owner proceeded to tell me she had 'dressed people bigger than me before' but it was ESSENTIAL that I invest in some shapewear before wasting any more time, trying things on. The reason given was that I would 'simply get a down on myself' otherwise - something of an understatement, in the circumstances!!!I have entertained a few people with this anecdote and, to a man, they have all been horrified at 'Alexa's' 'people skills.' In short, perhaps honesty is not always the best policy!!
