Fabulous place to get away from it all
Lovely walks along shore to Gourock towards the North and Inverkip to the south. Children's play area, large grass area with picnic tables. Toilet block which is new. Plenty of parking, but can be busy on a nice day. Cardwell Bay Garden Centre across the road.
Go nearly every day to take my dog on the beach to play ball. Nice open space. Sometimes see seals bobbing about. Has the advantage of nice clean toilets. Disabled spaces near toilets
It is always a pleasure to be here and enjoy the view of the firth, more so in summer when there are many yachts and cruise ships.
Absolutely breathtaking views, we came in October put kids wellies and woolies on and they asked to come back several times while we were on holiday. Lovely place to walk, little park for the kids and lovely locals
